Overview

Laurel Village, a prominent and well-known 727-unit downtown Minneapolis apartment community, is seeking a Front Desk/Administrative Assistant to join our professional and friendly team of Leasing Professionals. Qualified candidates will have a friendly and outgoing personality with proven outstanding customer service experience. Additionally, candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, possess a professional demeanor and display strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the leasing manager in all functions necessary to effectively operate the community. Perform leasing, marketing, customer service, and administrative duties to include:

  • Greet prospective and current residents in a warm and welcoming manner;
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and in person;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Compile and process residential applications;
  • Generate detailed reports using Real Page’s OneSite property management software;
  • Coordinate lease signings and conduct move-in orientations for new residents;
  • Assist with plant and pet sitting services as needed;
  • Log and audit resident packages received throughout the day;
  • Adhere to organizational policies & procedures as well as MN Fair Housing laws;
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed and professional appearance;
  • Possess interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact well in a team environment.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Basic computer skills with an understanding of the Internet and its uses for marketing;
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a property management or real estate environment.

Position is full-time, general hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  On occasion, weekend hours may be required.  We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, free parking and the potential to live on-site.
