    Great Lakes Management Company (GLM) is a Minnesota-based business that provides real estate management, marketing, asset management and consulting services for property owners. GLM’s portfolio includes senior communities featuring Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Care Suites components, multi-family communities and student housing communities.

    GLMC is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources for their corporate office in Golden Valley, MN. This position has overall accountability for corporate HR functions and initiatives and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department which includes payroll and benefits administration. The Director also counsels and advises on-site managers regarding employee issues.

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in an HR management role
    • Experience providing HR support and leadership to senior housing communities
    • Broad knowledge of human resource practices and employment laws and regulations
    • Ability to be flexible, quickly adapt and thrive with a growth oriented company
    • Ability to self-direct and be effective with minimal direct supervision
