    Laurel Village, a prominent downtown Minneapolis apartment community, is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to join our professional team. We’re searching for someone whose skills and talents can contribute to our success in maintaining an amazing environment for both our residents and employees. Qualified candidates will have a friendly and outgoing personality with an outstanding customer service and sales ability. Additionally, candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, have the ability to interact well in a team environment, possess a professional demeanor, and display strong verbal and written communication skills.  

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in all functions necessary to effectively operate the community. Work independently and as a team to perform leasing, marketing, customer service, and administrative duties to include:

      • Greet prospective and current residents in a warm and welcoming manner;
      • Conduct property tours for prospective residents;
      • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and in person;
      • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
      • Compile and process residential applications;
      • Navigate and update data through the property management software;
      • Coordinate lease signings and conduct move-in orientations for new residents;
      • Assist with resident pet sitting services as needed;
      • Log and audit resident packages received throughout the day;
      • Perform unit inspections to ensure market readiness;
      • Adhere to organizational policies & procedures as well as MN Fair Housing laws;
      • Maintain a neat, well-groomed and professional appearance;
      • Possess interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact well in a team environment.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent;
    • Basic computer skills with an understanding of the Internet and its uses for marketing;
    • A minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or sales related field, preferably in property management.

    Position is full-time requiring some weekend hours.

     

    Base Pay Plus Commissions – Average Range $35-40k (Dependent on Sales Ability). Generous benefits package, free parking, and a potential rent reduction to live on-site.
